Camila Lifestyle Maternity

I met Camila a few years ago when I photographed big sister Lillian at just 6 months. When I got the message she was pregnant again with baby #2, I was so excited! Mom really wanted her Maternity photos done as a lifestyle session taken place at home specifically in her bedroom (I don't blame her, it's gorgeous!). Lifestyle sessions are a fun, relaxed, and more natural type of session. We were able to get so many gorgeous images including their fur baby too. I can't wait to meet your new bundle of joy soon. :)

For Mom - Mothers Day Contest

I woke up this morning really thinking about Mothers Day coming up. I haven't done a "contest" in such a long time and the most perfect idea came to me. First, let me discuss how this idea came about:

Growing up my parents got divorced when I was 6 years old. My mother then became a single parent raising twins (yes I am a twin!). In total, there are 4 of us girls but at that time, my two older sisters were on their own.
Most of my childhood memories consist of a hours at camp, a handful of baby sitters, and lots of me missing Mom. She was always working to support the life she currently had raising me and my sister. Till this day she still works hard every day to provide. I know there is so many Mothers out there who are doing the same.

This Mother's Day I want to donate a Mini Session to another special Mom like mine.

Spring is in the air!

We had so much fun last weekend doing our handful of Spring sessions! We always try to do something a bit out of the "norm" so this year we decided on a flower nursery. What else says Spring better than a location full of colorful flowers?! Luckily, the weather was perfect for us too. We also did a few sessions in the park. Although, we couldn't do as many mini sessions like we normally do  because of how busy we have been this month (so thankful for that), I am SO happy with the sessions we did. I am totally thinking about doing another weekend.

Newborn Matthew - 3 weeks old

Where do I begin? Baby Matthew had a full head of hair, the cutest cheeks, and the plumpest little lips! Normally, we photograph newborns under or around the 10 day mark. With this little guy, you'd never know he was almost a month old. He allowed us to do just about anything we wanted and slept the entire time. I absolutely LOVE all the shots we got during our session! Also, I've never done this before but I am including some behind the scene photographs that Mom took. They were just too cool not to share and you get to see a little taste of how it's done and to show that safety is our priority. We always always always have Wendy to spot the babies.
