Birth Story: Natalie

I have been intrigued by birth photography for years, lured in by the magical nature of birth but never quite ready to take the leap. That is until one of my dear clients approached me with interest and desire to have her second child's birth documented.
Natalie was 6 months pregnant at the time with a toddler at home that was born in an emergency c-section. She wanted this birth to be completely different, natural, healing and calm.

On July second, after nearly 42 weeks of anticipation, I received a call from Natalie letting me know that she was well on her way to getting the VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section) that she dreamt about for so many months! She had a feeling that it would take a while so she advised me to wait at home but to be prepared. That is a big part of birth photography...waiting.

At around 7PM, after over 20 hours of labor, she gave me a green light and I immediately rushed to Broward General Hospital to document the most emotional, difficult and amazing moments in Natalie and Will's lives.
Here is their birth story through the lens of my camera:

He NEVER left her side...

It was time to finally push..

Doula Alex was there to help...

Here she comes

 Miss Abigail born 12:47am

Welcome to the world Abigail Malka!

 Weighing: 7 lbs 13 oz
Time to eat. Her first latch...

First time in Daddy's arms. She already stole his heart...

The cutest little feet..

I can't tell you enough how much I loved being there to capture this extremely important and beautiful moment in this family's life. It's so emotional just being there in the room watching through the lens.

Exciting New Services! Birth & Sibling Introduction:

As I launch my new brand I am ecstatic to introduce two new products that complete our "Bump to Baby" journey -  Birth Photography and Sibling Introduction!

Birth Photography:
If there is a single moment in your life that you will never be able to replicate it is the birth of your child. Not only will that precious time never repeat itself, it is often forgotten and details are left a blur. Birth photography is meant to capture those minutes, hours or days leading up to the anticipated arrival of your baby in all of its sweat and glory.

The goal is to get  EVERY detail of the birth process from the time of your arrival to the hospital, birthing center or set up at home, through the actual birth. Small details such as the clock, the date on the newspaper, room number, and nurses names are all captured. Most importantly, the look on your face when you and your baby meet and your partners love and support towards you through the entire process will be captured forever. We will include or leave out whatever you feel comfortable with because this is your way of  telling your birth story through the lens.
Because every birth is unique, please contact us for pricing.

Sibling Introduction:
Another priceless time is when the siblings first meet. This doesn't capture the actual BIRTH itself.
This is when your first child (or children) come to the hospital and see the baby for the first time. It's so special to get that expression on their faces and freeze their reactions to show them when they get older. They've waited a long time to meet baby just as much as you have!

Bump to Baby: Tiffany

I love my Bump to Baby clients! I've been photographing this family since Big Brother Liam was turning one. Not only was the Maternity session just beautiful, but Baby Lennox was too perfect for us at his Newborn session. I'm SO excited to show off Baby Lennox. He is going to be so tall and handsome - See for yourself ;)

Bump to Baby: Lisa & Rich

Loved both sessions with Lisa & Rich.. We did our Maternity Session at Deerfield Beach 6:30am. We wanted that gorgeous sunrise GLOW and we definitely got what we were looking for! These two are such a pleasure to photograph. You can just feel the Love they share for each other. When baby Monroe was born, I could not wait to photograph him! I knew he was going to be awesome.. A reflection of Mom & Dad. Here are a few of my favorites from both sessions:

Bump to Baby: Natalie

Okay guys, get ready... I have quite a bit to show you with this family!
Another BEAUTIFUL family that allowed me to capture their new addition all the way from the Reveal, the belly, the Hospital, AND the Newborn Session. I've been photographing them since their first Son Noah was just 6 months old. I love being able to watch a family grow. It's was such an honor to be able to photograph this important time in their life as well. Here are a few of my favorites from each of their sessions (although it's always oh so hard to choose):

Bump to Baby: Melony

It has been such an honor to photograph an important time in this family's life. I had the pleasure of capturing Mr. Jacob while he was still in his mother's belly, when he first met big Sister Sophia in the Hospital, and of course his very own Newborn session! Here are some of my favorite images of this family's special time in their life:
